What Is A Brojanica?
A little info on what they are for those of you who don’t know what they are. Brojanica is the Serbian word for ‘prayer rope’. (Greek-κομποσκοίνι, Russian- Chotki) Normally worn by Orthodox Christians, the bracelet is worn on the left hand. A brojanica is supposed to be a praying tool similar to the rosary. However they are now used less for prayer and mostly worn as symbol of faith. A brojanica bracelet is worn on the left arm.
